Supported cubes

One Connect button handles every brand below. We label each by how thoroughly we’ve verified it, so you always know what you’re getting.

Fully supported

The GAN family is the flagship: 356 i, 12 ui, 14, Mini, Monster Go, and the MoYu AI 2023. These use the cube’s own clock for timing — the most accurate a Bluetooth cube can offer — and the GAN 12 ui M adds a gyroscope for orientation.

Hardware verification

GoCube and Rubik’s Connected (essentially the same cube) connect and time well, and both have a gyroscope. Their timing rides your computer’s clock rather than a cube clock, which is a touch less precise — hence the separate label.

Experimental

These connect and generally work, but we haven’t hardware-verified every firmware revision, so treat them as fun rather than competition-grade:

  • QiYi Smart Cube — cube-clock timing, no gyro.
  • GiiKER i2 / i3 / i3s — host-clock timing, no gyro.
  • MoYu WeiLong V10 / V11 AI — cube-clock timing; gyro on gyro-core models.

Not supported

The GiiKER i3SE and the MoYu AI 2019 aren’t supported. If you own an experimental cube and something breaks, connect anyway and tell us — protocol reports genuinely help us move a cube up the list. Email hello@cubrs.com.

Buying your first smart cube? The gear guide recommends a fully-supported cube for every budget. You can also see the same tiers with timing and gyro columns on the features page.

This browser can’t reach your cube.

cūbrs talks to smart cubes over Web Bluetooth, which lives in Chrome, Edge, and Opera on desktop. Safari and Firefox don’t ship it, and iPhones and iPads can’t run it at all — that’s Apple’s call, not ours.

One email with the link, nothing else. Or open the app anyway if you know your browser supports Web Bluetooth.
