Leaderboards
Leaderboards show where your times stand. Every number on them comes from real, server-checked smart-cube solves.
What is ranked
The main board ranks your best average of 5: five solves in a row, with the fastest and slowest dropped and the middle three averaged. A second tab ranks your best single.
Periods
Pick day, week, month, year or all time. Periods follow UTC, so a new day starts at midnight UTC wherever you are.
Which boards
- Friends: you and your friends.
- Country: players who chose the same country.
- Age group: players in your age group (13-17, 18-24, 25-39, 40+), if you choose to join it.
- Division: players in your skill division.
- World: everyone who shows on public boards.
Showing on public boards is your choice
You are off the public boards until you turn them on in Social. Friends boards work either way. A public board shows only a rank, your display name and your time: never your email, your age or your birth date.
The 25-player rule
A public board opens only when at least 25 players are on it. Until then it shows no names, so a small group is never put on display.
What counts
Only smart-cube solves the server has replayed turn by turn count on public boards; see fair play.
Divisions
Your division comes from your best average of 12 over checked solves in the last 90 days. There are 6: Sub-15, Sub-25, Sub-40, Sub-1:00, Sub-2:00 and Learner. You place after 12 checked solves. Moving up is instant; you drop only after 90 days without an average inside your division. The cut-offs are a first version and may be tuned.
