Using cubrs
cubrs is a hands-free timer, trainer, and competition platform for Bluetooth smart cubes. You need an account to use the app; the keyboard demo is available without one. Keep your login details secure — you’re responsible for activity on your account.
The service is provided as-is
We work hard to keep cubrs accurate and available, but it’s provided “as is,” without warranties. Smart-cube hardware, Bluetooth, and browsers vary, and some cubes are explicitly marked experimental. We’re not liable for lost solves, missed personal bests, or downtime, to the extent the law allows.
Fair play & anti-cheat
Rated solves exist to mean something, so they come with rules. Every rated solve is recorded turn by turn and must reflect a real, unassisted solve of the scramble the app gave you on a supported cube. The app verifies you executed the scramble before the clock starts, and rated solves are replayable for review. Manipulating timing, spoofing cube data, sharing accounts to inflate a rating, or otherwise faking solves can cost you your ratings, your leaderboard standing, or your account.
Free, Pro & the founding-price promise
The free tier is free and is meant to stay a real product. Pro is a paid subscription; you can cancel anytime and your plan runs to the end of the period. If you join as a founding member, we honor the founding price exactly as stated: a locked launch discount on the annual plan that holds for as long as you stay continuously subscribed. Let your subscription lapse and the founding price ends with it.
Your content
Your solves and training data are yours. You grant us the permission we need to store, process, and display them back to you (and, for rated play, to the people you compete against and any spectators). See the privacy policy for what we store and how to delete it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. We’ll flag material changes rather than slip them past you.
