Friends
Friends let you compare times with people you know. You add a friend with a code, not by searching names, so nobody can find you unless you share your code.
Turning friends on
Open Social in the app. The first time, it asks for your birth month and year and, if you like, your country. Friends and leaderboards are for players 13 and over. Your birth date is never shown to anyone; see the privacy policy.
Your friend code
Everyone gets an eight-character code, shown like K7QM-4TXC. Codes skip
look-alike characters (0, 1, I, L, O), so they are easy to read out. You can copy the code,
share a link to it, or get a new code if an old one has spread too far (up to three new
codes a day). A new code stops the old one working; existing friends stay.
Adding a friend
- Type their code under Social > Friends > Add by code, or open the link they
shared (it looks like
cubrs.com/f?c=K7QM4TXC). - That sends a friend request. They accept or decline it. A decline is silent: you are not told.
- If you both send each other a request, you become friends straight away.
- You can have up to 100 friends.
What friends see
Friends see your display name, your division, your best times on the friends board, your campaign progress, and your country if you chose one. They never see your email, your birth date or your age group.
Removing, blocking and reporting
- Remove a friend at any time. It also withdraws a request you sent.
- Block anyone, including a name you see on a leaderboard. Once blocked, neither of you can send the other a request.
- Report an offensive name, a result that looks like cheating, or unwanted friend requests. Reports go to us, not to the player.
