Billing, Pro and the founding list
cubrs is free forever, and Pro is there when you’re chasing something. Here’s exactly what each tier includes, what Pro costs, and how the founding-member price works. For the live version of all this, see the pricing page.
What Free includes
The free account is free forever and covers the whole timing experience:
- Hands-free timer with cube-clock accuracy
- CFOP splits on every solve
- Cloud sync
- 90-day solve history
- 2-look OLL & PLL trainer sets
- Casual leaderboards and race spectating
Trends and phase analytics over time, and leagues, ratings and tournaments, are the two things Free doesn’t include — they’re Pro.
What Pro adds
Pro is everything in Free, plus:
- Unlimited history
- The full 141-case algorithm library
- Training trends and per-variant analytics
- CFOP phase analytics over time
- Weekly leagues, ratings and tournaments
- Host and race head-to-head
- Solve replay, turn by turn
What Pro costs
Pro is $2.42 a month, billed annually at $29 — or $3.99 month-to-month if you’d rather not commit for a year. The annual plan works out to about 39% less than paying monthly.
The founding list
Billing isn’t open yet. Founding members get Pro first, at a price that never goes up: join the founding list and you’ll get first access and a locked launch discount on the annual plan that holds for as long as you stay continuously subscribed. As long as you keep your subscription going without a break, that founding price stays locked in — it doesn’t rise on you later.
Cancelling and downgrading
You can cancel anytime. Your plan runs to the end of the current period and then simply stops — nothing is cut off early. If you drop back to Free, nothing is deleted: history past 90 days and the Pro analytics are hidden, not erased. Resubscribe and it’s all there again.
No ads, ever
There are no ads in cubrs and there never will be. Pro is the business model — that’s the whole point of it.
Accounts and deletion
cubrs is account-based, so your solves, training and rating follow you from device to device; the free account is free forever. Want a feel for it first? The keyboard demo runs without any account at all. If you ever delete your account, that’s a full wipe — your profile, solve and training data, and cube registry are all removed, and it can’t be undone. See accounts and sync for the details.
