"Sync from cube" re-reads the cube's own state — always safe.
"Mark as solved" rewrites the cube's memory: use it only when the cube is physically
solved but the app disagrees (e.g. you solved it while disconnected). If pressed on a
scrambled cube, physically solve it and press again to recover.
