cubrs started with a simple annoyance: you have a cube that knows exactly when you turned it, and you’re still hitting a key to start a stopwatch.
Why we built it
Smart cubes stream every turn with a timestamp. That’s enough to time a solve precisely, split it into CFOP phases, and replay it move by move — no spacebar, no stackmat, no arguing about when the clock started. Once you have that, competition stops being “compare screenshots” and becomes something real: ratings, leagues, and live races where two cubes stream side by side.
So we built the timer we wanted, then kept going: a trainer that drills all 141 CFOP cases by move completion, honest support for the smart cubes people actually own, and a Season 1 that turns your solves into a rating that means something.
What we believe
Timing should come from the cube, not the keyboard. The free tier should be a real product, not a trap. There are no ads and we don’t sell your data — Pro is how we keep the lights on. And when a cube is only half-supported, we say so.
