Weekly leagues

A league is a week-long division race. You solve when it suits you across the week, and where you finish decides whether you move up, hold, or drop for the next one.

The week

Each league week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC. Everything for that week — your matchday solves and your standing — is scoped to that window. When it closes, results lock and the next week opens.

Divisions of 20

You’re placed in a division of 20 solvers near your level. You race the other nineteen, not the whole world, so every week is a real fight among peers rather than a chase after an untouchable top.

Shared scrambles

Everyone in your division gets the same scramble set each matchday — you all solve the identical cubes, so the result is a clean comparison with no luck of the draw. The app verifies you executed the scramble before the attempt counts, so a shared scramble stays genuinely shared.

Scoring and movement

Your best ao12 across the week is what counts — one strong average, not a total grind. At the close, the top four promote to the division above and the bottom four relegate to the one below; the middle holds. Show up and average well, and you climb.

Missing a week

Life happens: you get one grace week. Miss a week and you hold your seed instead of relegating. Use it and you’ll want to be back the following week to keep your place.

Racing and spectating

Pro accounts race the league and its live matchdays; free accounts spectate every race. See ratings for how matchday results move your number, and fair play for how solves are verified.

This browser can’t reach your cube.

cūbrs talks to smart cubes over Web Bluetooth, which lives in Chrome, Edge, and Opera on desktop. Safari and Firefox don’t ship it, and iPhones and iPads can’t run it at all — that’s Apple’s call, not ours.

One email with the link, nothing else. Or open the app anyway if you know your browser supports Web Bluetooth.
